We're still not finished with festivities, but I wanted to show you the awesome cake Missy made (she was up very late last night- I get scolded for working at night but she always does her cakes at night- hmmm).
It's just a family party with a 'Princess and the Pea' theme. We've shot a home movie of the story with costumes, too, which we'll try to edit together tomorrow.

wow, that is amazing!!!
Missy, every time I see one of your b-day cakes I think this one is the best cake ever and every time you out-do yourself again. This is award winning, I do not know how you could make a cake cooler than this one, this literally "takes the cake".
Missy, how do you do it?! That cake is awesome. I wish you still lived close so you could teach me. Did you use fondant for the top blanket, or marzipan?
Wow! Have you ever taken a cake decorating class or does this kind of brilliance just come naturally? You really could sell your cakes if you wanted to. Maybe you could eventually get your own food network reality show--all about the stress of trying to make something while your kids drive you crazy.
Missy, you are truely a talented artist. I can see why you have to stay up at night to make those cakes. I wonder what it would look like if you tried to do that during the day with 6 to 8 extra hands wanting to get in on the action.
what were the bed posts made of? that looks awesome. you truly have a cake-making gift, though the problem with being so amazing is that people are going to expect you to keep it up. i'm sure you'll have no problem.
WOW! You have became pro cake maker!
