We drove down to Oklahoma from Kansas several times in November and December. Each time we took one of the kids with us and left the others with Grammy and Gramps which made things much easier.
We learned a lot from the experience and finally chose one with the right mix of features for our family.
After (somewhat bitter) negotiations, we're now under contract to buy this house in Edmond, Oklahoma. It was built in 1990, has new appliances, a unique floorplan, and a secluded office space for Dave, who will be working from home here full time. That lovely window will give our cars such a great view.
We're supposed to close just after Christmas.
After two days of driving with a stop in Cheyenne at the Little America overnight, we made it to Gramps and Grammy's house in Lansing, Kansas. Completely worn out.
ABF brought a huge truck and parked it in our drive way. We had tons of great help from our wonderful ward in loading that truck. We will miss them so much.
